2027 Tryout Registration and Tryout Schedule by Age Group

Hello Everyone,

This is the post everyone has been asking for, the wait is finally over!

To register for the 2027 Tryouts please click here.  Your registration fee includes all Rep and Select Tryouts.  If you only want to tryout for Select please choose the Select Registration only.  Remember you need to register before attending tryouts and if you live outside our boundaries, you will need to have a release in hand before you can step on the field.  The exception to this rule is if you played for a Waterloo Rep team during the 2026 Season you do not require a second release.  There are penalties for violating the OBA/ICBA Release rules.  Any questions let me know.

Waterloo boundaries are as follows: City of Waterloo and New Hamburg

All dates are for T1 and T2 team selections.  Select tryouts will occur following the Rep tryouts.  WMBA encourages everyone to tryout for Rep baseball.  To play on a Select Team in Waterloo, you will need to play in the 2027 KW House League, spots will be held in HL.

16U Clarification – Pay the 18U Registration Fee – You are eligible to tryout to both 16U and 18U Teams, tryout for 16U as the coaches for both levels will be present for both tryouts.

2027 Tryout Dates

Four tryout dates have been scheduled per age group, except for 16U.

All players must attend at least two tryouts, including either the first or second date, prioritize the first two tryout sessions, and communicate any scheduling conflicts with the coaches in advance.

Players should also understand that registering for tryouts does not guarantee that they will participate in all four dates, team rosters may complete after the third tryout. Players may be released earlier in the process if the coaches determine that they are no longer being considered for a roster spot.

All tryout dates are in September. If weather causes a cancellation, additional dates will be added as needed.
